Find
the application you would like to download to your computer.
If you know which category the application is in, you can go
to it that way.
Alternatively,
you can search for the publication by its name.
Click
on the Download image (A ROTATING FLOPPY DISK).
Internet
Explorer users - You will see a File Download dialog box.
Select Save this program to disk.
Netscape
users - You will see an Unknown File Type Dialog box.
Select Save.
Save
the download file into an empty directory.
Most downloads are compressed with .zip, .hqx, or .bin extensions,
however if the file is not compressed it should have an .exe
extension, it will probably decompress when you open it.
You should save files into a new directory with no other files
in it.
When
the download has completed, go to the directory where you saved
the file. Remember
the name of your download directory. A good idea is to create
a new called downloads or installers.
Double
click the file, and follow the instructions of your decompressing
software.
Recommended decompression utility: WinZip 8.0
Carefully
follow the install instructions provided by the setup program.
