XL-Reader application is intended for end-users to navigate through
documents in XLR format.
A second application named XLR Doc Builder allows authors to build documents
in XLR format, and alternate formats (HTMLs, and XMLs).
An additional application named XLR Tpl Builder is available for authors

All applications are delivered online, and deployed by a self-installer (the
deployed applis include an uninstaller).
The main idea is to simplify the import, the organization, the updates, and
the appearance of huge HTML-based documents being accessed either online, or
by CDROMs. Recommended for technical writers.
Authors may export the organized documents either in XLR format (being
viewed by XL-Reader), and alternatively in HTML format, or XML format.
Documents in XLR format may be sonified and digitally signed by the author.
XL-Reader's end-users can explore, make search, print, annotate pages,
authentify the author of XLR documents, assign and save application's
preferences. The "table of contents" navigation tool uses the word-wrapping
