Glitter
Glitter is an easy to use GUI application for retrieving binaries from newsgroups. Glitter uses gary, a Perl script, to actually retrieve the binaries. Gary is based on Mark Stantz's Assemble Usenet Binaries (aub) Perl program. Our Review: Glitter is a good little program that helps you to get all of those important files from your favourite newsgroups. It does take a while to set up, and is recommended for advanced users only. Once they have it up and running, users will appreciate the power that Glitter offers them.
