VisualRoute is a speedy Traceroute program that automatically analyzes Internet connectivity. A global map shows the route of your connection over the Internet. VisualRoute also supports pop-up Whois, providing instant contact information to report connectivity problems. VisualRoute tracks all IP hops in parallel (instead of consecutively), providing results much faster than conventional Traceroute programs. With the VisualRoute Server package, VisualRoute may be installed on a central server so that users may access VisualRoute through a Java-enabled Web browser, allowing users inside a firewall to run Traceroutes, and to run Traceroutes from a remote location. Our Review: Joyous! I love this program. If you think you are being hacked by some evil person, and decide that their entire village/town/state/country should be made to pay, have a go with VisualRoute 5 for Windows. Simply enter an IP address or DNS and VisualRoute will trace the servers that it goes through to find the host. It even has a little world map and + or - GMT indicator to show you where it's going. I love it...now if only you could vector NATO air-strikes onto that server...
