MPegger is a software-based MP2/MP3 encoder. It allows you to convert audio files to compressed formats which are many times smaller while losing very little quality.
Our Review: MPegger is a flash-looking MP3/MP2 encoder with a nice interface and all the relevant features - variable bit-rate, ability to encode from CD, CDDB support, normalization, and automatic file-tagging for MP3 labelling. MPegger gives you the option to 'monopolize the CPU' if you wish to do a whole batch of conversions as quick as possible. MPegger's ease of use makes it quick and simple to convert your CDs to MP3s.
