easy beat is a new music authoring program for the Macintosh. It uses the QuickTime Music Architecture (QTMA) to play songs. If you have QuickTime 3.0 or newer installed, you don't need extra hardware or software to play songs with easy beat. If you have a MIDI adapter and an external synthesizer, you can take advantage of your special hardware, too. Our Review:easy beat is a MIDI composer for the Mac that allows up to 16 tracks. It has a wide WIDE range of MIDI options for sequencing and composing. Built-in is also a MIDI finder that allows you to find MIDI files on the internet and download them into easy beat for playing and editting. The included manual provides extensive documentation not only on the program but MIDI techniques and on how to set-up a MIDI workstation. Highly recommended if you work with MIDI on any level. |
