FontDoctor is a powerful font problem diagnosis and repair tool for Macintosh. Requires: Macintosh PPC, System 8 or higher Our Review:FontDoctor allows you to select folders of fonts and diagnose them for any problems that could marr their use on your computer. FontDoctor will find and repair Font ID conflicts, duplicate fonts, extra font sizes (TrueType fonts are scalable and do not need extra font sizes), mixed font types (presence of both Bitmap and TrueType versions of a font), orphaned Bitmaps, orphaned Postscripts, and corrupt fonts. Includes an excellent font inspector which allows you to view each character of a font with the option also to create an empty font-suitcase to backup fonts to. |
