The Apple Startup Set replaces the "Welcome to Mac OS" startup with the name and picture of your computer. There are two versions, StartupScreen (requires ResEdit) and SimpleScreen (easy to use). Our Review:The Apple Startup Set comprises of a collection of glossy pictures of various models of Apple computers. The concept is to use the picture that relates to your Mac type to replace the standard startup screen. The Apple Startup Set includes documentation detailing the two methods of replacing the startup screen. Included pictures are the iMac, iBook, Power Book, Power Mac, Generic Apple, and the Standard startup screens. |
