MoosePad is a modern replacement for Apple's Note Pad and unlike Stickies does not require that you keep all of your notes open. MoosePad supports many of the new features in MacOS 9 and/or NetBoot environments. MoosePad is a great utility for anyone who may reuse large amounts of text, program code, etc. MoosePad is a great place to store your inventory of product serial numbers and software activation codes. Memos are not stored in clear text and can be password protected. Our Review:MoosePad is a handy utility for storing memos and other bits of data that you use often. The ability to password-protect memos is most useful and Moosepad can speak memos aloud using the Apple Speech extension. A Table of Contents lists the first few words of each memo allowing for searching and reordering. MoosePad makes memos easy with its nice interface. |
