Poly
Poly is a shareware program for exploring and constructing polyhedra (cubes, pyramids, etc.). With Poly, you can manipulate polyhedral solids on the computer in a variety of ways. Flattened versions (nets) of polyhedra may be printed and then cut out, folded, and taped, to produce three-dimensional models. Our Review: I remember back to my days at school when we had to cut out cardboard to make 3D shapes... I wish I had had this program back then. Poly would be useful for primary teachers, artists, or just anyone who wants to have a play. The program is well-presented and easy to operate, yet thorough and sophisticated. This is the Macintosh version.
