CalcWorks, the premier calculator application for the Macintosh, is a complete multi-function calculator, with scientific & binary functions, definable constants & conversions, optional RPN, a basic 4-function mode, and a printable paper tape window. Our Review:CalcWorks is a very smart looking calculator that does very smart things - all the usual scientific functions plus base-conversions, boolean functions, and manipulation of units of time (mins, secs, frames per sec). Many constants and conversions are built-in but also editable. Other nifty inclusions are the saveable paper-tape output (so you can print a whole series of computations), and its ability to minimise to an easily accessible icon that will quietly sit in a corner of your screen until needed. Replace that dodgy apple built-in calculator and never look back! |
