The Reading Machine is a solution for paced reading with electronic texts. Readers can choose from three reading methods: left to right eye training, vertically scrolling text, and book-style reading. They can also choose to hear the text read aloud when using the book reading method. Our Review:The Reading Machine helps train students eyes to read books at pace. The Reading Machine includes sample books that are read line-by-line with the aid of a moving mask that will set the pace that the student should be reading at. Words-per-minute rate can be varied and the book can be revealed word-by-word, line-by-line, or page-by-page. If this sounds like a gimmick it's not - The Reading Machine will strengthen your eyes and your reading ability. |
