Instrumental ABC's is an music education program targeted for children, but is for anyone who wants to learn about the standard instruments used in the Symphony Orchestras of today. It includes varying multimedia information on the 21 different musical instruments showcased in the application. It also has a "Quiz" option that challenges users to recognize the differences between instruments, by identifying them purely on the sounds, pictures or text descriptions presented. Our Review: Instrumental ABC's provides a short information piece on each of the musical instruments used in a Symphony Orchestra. Each information piece is accompanied by a full colour photograph of the instrument in use and a sound recording of it being used as a solo instrument. A quiz is provided which allows you to match the sounds, pictures, or information to the appropriate instrument. A great overview that will be informative for the musically curious.
