YP Vectors
YP Vectors displays a vector in two dimensions, and its two components. The user can change the magnitude and the direction of the vector using the mouse. A window shows the numerical value of the magnitude, the direction, the x component and the y component of the vector. The user can change the scale used to draw the vector. Our Review: YP Vectors provides a graphical means to understand vectors and vector components. The main graphical window allows you to click-and-drag the vector and obtain the numerical values of the X and Y components as well as the angle and total vector magnitude. Included also is the option to translate the vector information into Force, Displacement, or Velocity vectors. The resulting vector can be scaled and exported to PICT for use in assignments or demonstrations.
