Grades 6-8 ability
Our Review: Editor in Chief allows children to pretend that they are the Editor in Chief of a publishing company and therefore need to correct works to be published. The student is presented with a story with grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and misuse of punctuation - correction is achieved by selecting the appropriate category and searching to find the specific language rule relating to the error. Assistance and information is provided at each step and hints aid the child in reinforcing their learning. Includes a bonus reward game involving identifying and shooting incorrectly spelled words! This demo of Level B requires the student to edit a formal letter.
