Firefall is a very addictive aracade game that was originally published in 1993. The game has now been re-released as shareware and has been updated to work better on new machines. It should run on any PowerPC Macintosh as long as Draw Sprocket is installed. Our Review:Firefall is a remake of a highly addictive arcade space-invaders game - the fact that it is a remake should excuse the slightly less than cutting-edge graphics but the gameplay is great! You zip around the bottom of the screen using your mouse and zap away at the worms looping their way down from the top of the screen. Shooting blocks scattered around the screen releases treats such as better weapons. The pace is good and provides instant entertainment - arcade style! |
