MultiMode now supports Packet! You can now decode 300 and 1200 baud HF and VHF packet radio transmissions. You can also transmit Unnumbered Information (UI) packets as well. MultiMode allows you to decode and transmit morse code, RTTY, FAX, SSTV, PSK31, ALE, and many other modes on your Mac, without any extra hardware! MultiMode features sophisticated digital filters, for pulling weak signals out of the noise. Our Review: MultiMode provides an excellent means to transmit, receive, and decode digital signals from your ham radio setup. You simply plug your ham radio into the audio inputs/outputs of your Mac and MultiMode will give you complete control over a variety of digital formats - including CW, RTTY, FAX, weather maps (HFFAX), morse code and packet transmission. MultiMode provides spectrum analysis of input signals and can therefore demonstrate what frequencies the carrier signal and sidebands are being detected at. MultiMode can even decode from a wav file if you have a transmission stored away for decoding. Undoubtedly MultiMode will save on your equipment costs at your ham radio station.
