dataComet is an AppleScriptable Macintosh Telnet SOCKS application featuring PC-ANSI, VT220, & TN3270 terminal emulation, multiple sessions, flexible and easy-to-use key remapping, edit windows, macro recording, and web browser support (using the dataComet-NCSA and dataComet-Brown helper applications). Our Review:dataComet is a terminal emulator that allows access to Telnet, TCP/IP, and serial connections. Extensive support is included for both ANSI and ASCII datastreams and includes the ability to record macros to perform often repeated command sequences. dataComet has multiple window support allowing you to maintain simultaneous connections and to perform text-editing in a spare window to paste into any open connection. A very versatile connection utility. |
