NewsFinder is a program for finding open-access news servers. It is shareware ( US$10 ). Many ISP's news servers are pretty feeble and do not carry the newsgroups you want to read, or, if they do, they have unsatisfactory retention or a limited feed. Commercial news servers might be beyond your means. NewsFinder can help you to find other news servers that allow reading access.
