Most of us have experienced the annoyance of being disconnected from the Internet by our ISP when we've left our computer just for a moment. iSurf will allow you to take a break with the comfort of knowing that your connection will not be terminated by the time you return to your desk. This application fools your ISP by making your web browser spool through web sites that you have predetermined, instead of sitting idle. iSurf does one thing and does it well! To keep you online. Every minute or so, it loads and goes to another web site in the URL Database you filled in and your ISP believes that you are still working and does not disconnect you for being idle.
Our Review: iSurf is a small application whose purpose is to generate enough internet activity so as to not have your internet service provider disconnect you. It does this by referring to a database of URL addresses (which you can customise) and periodically loading one of the addresses into your browser. The offshoot of this is that you will have cached copies of webpages you wish to visit (and can therefore view them later) but the main point of this process is to keep the connection 'alive'. Smart and sneaky - but possibly useless unless you really do have a need.
