Fetch is a Macintosh program for transferring files. It uses the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and therefore allows a networked Macintosh to transfer files with any connected machine that supports FTP. Fetch requires a Mac Plus, System 4.1, and either MacTCP, OpenTransport, or (at Dartmouth) KSP.
Our Review: Fetch is one of the most respected FTP clients for Macintosh that I know of - one of the originals. Fetch allows you to connect to an FTP server and then explore files and directories as you would your own hard drive. Downloading from the FTP server is flawless with many options (including automatic!) available to ensure that the data integrity is maintained. Supports Drag-and-Drop, Apple Event Scripting, file resume, and FTP searching. Fetch will handle all your FTPs - no fuss.
