ShadowIRC is a new MacOS IRC client, written specifically with speed, extensibility, and ease-of-use in mind. Our Review: ShadowIRC is proported to be one of the best IRC clients on the Macintosh. It's easy to use - evidence of the fact that ShadowIRC was made to support for new users to inter-relay chat. ShadowIRC has several nifty features that make this a less-than-generic IRC client, which include - the ability to automatically highlight specified users upon their entry to the chat (and play a custom sound file), a log option to keep records of chats, and custom signature messages to speak when signing off a specified connection. Robust and a must!
