The Hotline Connect Client is a simple and elegant community application that offers cutting-edge features. The Hotline Client uses only 6MB of RAM, leaving your system resources free for multitasking. Version 1.8 introduced full QuickTime support, bug fixes, improved client stability, and better client handling of network tasks. It also added the ability to upload folders. Hotline Client 1.8.4 adds the Hotline administrator Window, allowing administrators to create, edit and delete accounts and groups on their 1.8.4 server. This version also incudes numerous bugfixes. Hotline is now a truer, richer communication and collaboration environment. Use Hotline 1.8.4 to create your online identity and explore the world of Hotline communities. This version will not expire. Our Review: The Hotline Connect Client allows you to communicate with Hotline Servers around the world. These servers give you access to stored files, discussion forums, and private/public chats. The interface of Hotline Connect is graphically based - making it easy to use and customise. Hotline servers have the option of giving some users privileged access to aid in moderating the server - so be sure to nag the admin for increased access!
