Eradicator is my answer to a problem with MacOS 9 that has been gaining a lot of attention on the Mac Websites lately. It seems that, unlike previous versions of the MacOS, MacOS 9 does not delete temporary files from your computer's hard drive when the computer is shut down or restarted.
Our Review: Eradicator allows you to view (and selectively delete) the contents of the invisible Temporary Items folder in Mac OS 9. This is useful because Mac OS 9 is reluctant to delete temporary items - Eradicator allows you to take control! The interface of Eradicator is glowing - it informs you of the name, size, and kind of each file in the temporary items folder. Also included is a flag indicating whether each file is currently in use or not (ie: whether it is safe to delete). A fine utility that addresses the needs of the Mac community.
