LockOut is a Mac application that helps keep people from using your Mac while you're away. Helps keep your Mac safe from your co-workers while at the office, and from your kids while at home. Our Review:LockOut is a handy security that, when run, blanks the screen and presents a LockOut dialog. On this LockOut dialog is a field in which to enter the correct password (and thus unlock the Mac) but also a place for your co-workers to type messages to you so that when you return to your Mac you can be informed as to who came by to visit. A novel idea that secures your Mac but also provides a messaging service. |
