What 3DfxTweaker offers: Adjustment of screen refresh rate to optimize the cards display for your specific monitor, and to provide flicker-free video output. Adjustment of graphics clock rate to let the graphics processor on the card run faster and achieve higher frame rates, but with the drawback of possible texture errors and the fear of overheating the card. Adjustment of swapbuffer interval to minimize the time between two consecutive frames, in order to gain a higher framerate. Our Review: 3Dfx Tweaker offers the ability to increase your frame-rate output from your 3Dfx video card by 'tweaking' some of the settings. Screen-refresh rate, graphics-clock rate, and swap-buffer interval can all be tweaked to hopefully offer increased frame-rate. Using these tweaks can offer up to a 25% increase in frame-rate - great for those graphics-intensive 3Dfx games.
