BigSecret is a program providing file security facilities for files you store on your computer. The following facilities are provided: ¥ commands for making files or folders visible or invisible, ¥ facilities for ensuring invisible files remain invisible in other applications, ¥ facilities for recording information about the usage of certain files that you specify, ¥ password facilities for protecting access to the program, Our Review: BigSecret is a file-security utility that allows you to protect important files by making them invisible to other users that share your computer. BigSecret keeps a list of all files under its protection and allows you to show/hide files and folders at your leisure. Included also is an extension called SecretThing that ensures the invisiblity of your important files is maintained in file dialog boxes of other applications. In conjunction with SecretThing, BigSecret is also able to observe usage of your files and inform you of access and changes made to them.
