ShrinkWrap creates and/or mounts exact duplicates of disk images on the desktop for easy online distribution. With a simple drag and drop, you can turn a disk or files into an electronically transmittable image file and then return it to an exact copy of the original source disk. Our Review: ShrinkWrap is a powerful alternative to the Apple system software 'DiskCopy' - ShrinkWrap will not only create disk images but also provide 2 - 3 times the compression that DiskCopy can provide. A disk image is an exact bit-by-bit replica of an original disk or file folder - creating one for distribution of your files guarantees that the recipient gets a perfect copy. ShrinkWrap is brought to you by Aladdin, who also create the Stuffit range, which explains the wide range of compression formats available when you choose to save a disk image. Images can be 'mounted' such that they are treated just like disks, allowing you to copy to and from them and update them as necessary. Also includes 40-bit password encryption. Great!
