Aladdin DropZip is designed to create Zip archives quickly and efficiently. Using DropZip, you can create zip archives by simply dragging & dropping your files and folders onto the DropZip icon. DropZip compresses a copy of the information into a zip archive and puts the archive in the same location that you dragged from, using the name of the file or folder as the name of the archive. Our Review: Aladdin DropZip is the handiest .zip archive program on the Mac - not only will DropZip make creating .zip archives simple but it offers other features for increased compatibility with other PC platforms - DropZip can UU-Encode (.uu) archives as well as convert files within archives to MacBinary (.bin). Aladdin DropZip will complete the suite of compression formats.
