UtilityDog is a powerful utility that gives you unprecedented control over finding, viewing, and manipulating the files and folders on your disks. You can efficiently find files and folders by virtually any criteria that you can think of and save your criteria for later reuse. You can browse through the results of a search or through the files on your disks and immediately see the contents of each file or folder with just a single click. You can manipulate files and folders one at a time, or many items at the same time using convenient commands designed for batch processing. You can also use UtilityDog as a backup utility to back up your important files and protect against accidental loss of data. Our Review: UtilityDog is the most advanced file search utility imaginable - every criteria that is thinkable is a criteria UtilityDog can search by. Not only can UtilityDog search by all the common criteria of size, date, name etc. but also by version number, what resources are contained within the file, what data is present in the data fork, and what obscure finder flags are set (such as 'invisible', 'shared' and 'init'). Once the search is complete, the data fork of the files can be viewed and, if it is a picture or some other common file-type, UtilityDog will view the data is the commonly presented form. Searches can have boolean logic included for a many leveled search and search criteria can be saved for later reuse. Synchronization and Backup functions are also included. Check it out!
