MacRAR is a MacOS version of the RAR archiver - a powerful tool which allows you to create, manage and control archive files. Our Review:MacRAR is a compression utility which utilises the RAR compression engine. MacRAR allows the creation and decompression of RAR archives for use on other platforms or simply for use on your MacOS. This version of MacRAR supports drag-and-drop, MacBinary III, and will recognise the equivalent file types on your Mac for files that have come from a PC (eg: .BMP becomes PICT on your mac). The interface is not unlike the PC version which makes this utility a breeze to use between the two platforms. |
