There are 72 stones, two of each combination of six colors and six shapes.At the start of the game, there are six stones on the board representingeach shape and color. To place an additional stone on the board, youmust match at least one adjacent stone according to the following rules(adjacent stones are those to the top, bottom, left, and right ONLY,not the diagonal): - To match a single stone, you must match either the color or shape. - To match two stones, you must match one shape and one color. - To match three stones, you must match two colors and one shape OR two shapes and one color. - To match four stones, you must match two colors and two shapes.stones placed on the interior (lighter) squares score points when placed,according to the number of adjacent stones that they match.
