This software is very Beta. This is my second VB6 program and I don't claim to be a great programmer so use at your own risk. I am a Mechanical Engineer (that uses a Palm III very heavily) by day, and a programmer wanna-be at night. I still have some work to do on error-trapping in this program so let me know if you find any strange situations. Overall, the code should be fairly stable. PalmBackup was written for those of us who wish to backup our "hotsync'd" data that is on our PC's to a safe location. PalmBackup will back up your complete Palm Desktop folder or just your user folder using the compression type of your choice (currently ZIP, ACE or RAR) to a directory of your choice. Password protection is optional for the backups. Note: Please make sure you understand the issues with passwords for the various compression types. This program works great in conjunction with BackupBuddy. In addition to the backup capability, you can "program" up to 3 user defined program buttons on the screen as you desire. Our Review:
