MusicEase is a combination music notation editor / automatic accompaniment creator. As a full-featured, intelligent music notation editor, it produces highly polished, publication quality, printed music. It also automatically generates accompaniments consisting of any number of general MIDI instruments including drums which you can play, print or save as a MIDI file. Our Review: MusicEase is another solid addition to the field of MIDI composing software - featuring everything you need to quickly create and print music. While the notation-tablature conversion and accompaniment creation are nice additions, and the lyric-creation system comprehensive, MusicEase loses out ever so slightly in the presentation. While adding notes is done with relatively ease - just type in the letter of the note and it appears on the composition, there is a steep learning curve and chopping, changing and editing your arrangement isn't quite as user-friendly as it's name implies. Small niggles like this peg back what is an extremely comprehensive program, but once you are familiar with the program it is very rewarding, just make sure you give the manual a proper read beforehand
