Audio One
Audio One is a player cum recorder which plays audio in a compressed and non-compressed wave format and also MP3 format (ONLY! if you have installed Windows Media Player correctly). When this software was developed, I had installed Windows Media Player ver. 6.00.02.0902 and it managed to play the MP3 audio files. Our Review: Audio One is a sub-par MP3 Databaser/Player which features an horrendously ugly and dated interface, awkward design and much much more. Firstly, it requires Windows Media Player to play the files, which is a major pain. And considering it's competition often let you at least choose an external play this is really unforgivable. While it isn't lacking in other features (ID-Tag importing, playlist creation etc.) Audio One fails miserably in terms of looks and support - you should expect a lot more for $US45!!!
