MusicBoss is a wonderful piece of Software for the Mobile DJ or audio enthusiast. First use our Grabber to extract music from your favorite CD's, which will be automatically converted to the MP3 format (a high quality small sized file) then store those songs in your database for instant recall using your choice of 25 different sound codes. MusicBoss buffers the audio output using 3 play decks with built in fade levels normally only possible from a double sound card system. This is just the beginning of what is one huge package of bells and whistles a DJ of the nineties only could dream about. Our Review: MusicBoss is one of the few MP3 suites out there that offers something extra, something new - something worth checking out. It has the standard stuff here, a good CD Ripper and encoder featuring Xing encoding and a good, if perhaps a little complex, databasing system, but is clearly aimed at more than the casual user. While the Prod room offers a respectable MP3 editing suite where you can add cut and paste, add fades and echoes and amplify the signal etc. it is the Air Studio and Event Planner which really give MusicBoss its kick. You can create comprehensive playlists (or Shows) including with cross-fading a comprehensive equalizing options to play with making it perfect for some digital DJ-ing. Although none of the features in MusicBoss are remarkable and it is a tad buggy, the simple interface and emphasis on creating professional MP3 shows more than make up for it. Recommended.
