This is a demo of a twin deck & mixer for windows 98. The record decks play .mp3 files or .wav files only. Load two tracks and then start them. Fade between using the crossfade slider. To increase or decrease speed of tracks use the pitch sliders. The radio buttons at the top represent x1 x2 x4 pitch of a standard technics deck.
Our Review: Decks is an extremely simple twin deck audio mixer & recorder. It can load MP3s and Wavs (and convert to wav if you wish) as the two main tracks, which can then be crossfaded and their volumes and pitches changed as you wish. You can also add in up to 16 wav samples which can be played with the click of the mouse. Everything is a breeze to use, with the 'graphical' interface little more than generic buttons and sliders making Decks as streamlined as they get. Hardly high-end audio software, but Decks still does the job and costs nothing, so why not give it a go.
