Namster
Use Namster (pronounced "Name-ster") to rename your shared mp3s. It's super-easy to search and download with numeric file-names; let Namster do the work for you. When you "Namsterize" any mp3, a "namster.txt" file is generated with the old and new name of your file. That way you can easily keep track of your files when they are Namsterized. Further transformations are appended to the file. Converting back or "Normalizing" to human-readable text is just as easy. Namster is brought to you by music enthusiasts who have purchased actual, real music CDs BECAUSE of "that other place" and encourage you to do the same. Our Review: Interesting little application that will convert an MP3 file name to a string of numbers, with each number represents a letter. It can also convert them back. Why would you do this..? Because you can, of course.
