Tripnosis allows users to search for, download, and share ANY TYPE OF FILE, including MP3, ASF, WMA (new windows media audio), WMV (windows media video), JPG, EXE, DLL..., images, photographs, and even your saved tracks and scenarios from your favorite games. Tripnosis lists the best possible match and only 1 of the same filename to better display possible results. This version has built in chat and also has a very stable transfer code ensuring reliable transfers and automatic file resume. Tripnosis features a web based main page where you can find out news and information about upcoming events and new Windows Media Player Skins. Our Review: As yet another contender to the 'king of file sharing' title, Tripnosis plays it safe by basically imitating Napster, while going beyond MP3 and offering any file type up for 'sharing'. Although it is hard for new programs like this to get off the ground (Napster is still a far better way to get MP3s) Tripnosis had a respectable amount of content, and the interface is pretty good - although lacks the detail of others when it comes to file information. Not there yet, but Tripnosis shows some good potential, so why not support this fledgling enteprise.
