The Harbor Audio Manager (Harbor) is a unique and powerful suite of tools for playing, organizing and managing digital audio files stored on your Windows98 or Windows2000 computer and computer network. Designed for digital audio professionals and serious digital audio hobbyists, Harbor's full-featured tools are integrated into a fast, fun and easy-to-use interface which works with a multitude of audio file formats including WAV, MP3, MIDI, AU, AIFF and SND. Our Review: As a simple audio management suite Harbor Audio does everything right. It can scan your drive, create playlists, display and edit ID tags and play your tracks for you. It also features an explorer-style window to help your organize your files. While Harbor does a satisfactory job in most areas and it does look rather smart, I had a little trouble scanning for playlists and there are no player controls on offer which was disappointing. Overall, Harbor Audio Manager is unlikely to make much of an impression, especially considering the huge array of similar programs avalailable (check out the wonderful Helium) The handy option of adding your 20 favourite tracks to quick launch buttons is a cool feature but it can't save Harbor from mediocrity.
