Simple and easy to use digital audio capturing software for Windows 95/98/NT4.0/2000. All you need is a computer running one of these operating systems and a properly installed sound card. AudioMagic allows recording and playing very large wave files (PCM type), directly to/from hard disk. You can save your recording in MP3 format as well as CD compatible format. Playing a file is as easy as ABC. Just Drag-and-Drop it onto the Audio Magic. It has an option for staying Always-on-Top of the screen. The intuitive graphical user interface lets you use it as friendly as you do on "real-world" recording machines. Loop recording feature enables you to easily capture audio from streaming input. This is ideal for recording audio that you do not know when to start. Suppose you are listening to the radio and your favorite song has just started, or you haven't paid attention to it and the song is already in the middle. Even in this case, if you press the record button now, you will not lose the beginning of the song. Just set a loop record size, and start loop recording. AudioMagic captures the sound infinitely until you stop or switch to normal recording mode. With sound activated recording (VOX) mode, you can eliminate unnecessary sound like background noise. This mode depends on a trigger level that you can adjust for recording. Any sound below the trigger level is not recorded. Whenever incoming sound is above the level, AudioMagic automatically starts recording. You can save your time for playback as well as hard disk space. Click here to see how to use this feature. Our Review: Small, attractive and effective, AudioMagic does a great job of some advanced WAV recording while keeping things ever so simple. The clearly laid out interface and MP3 encoding ensure AudioMagic is a solid recording utility, however the quick and easy access to the VOX and LOOP recording really make this little app. a great find. Recommended.
