While it may not have as many features as the mighty Awave Audio, dbPowerAMP wins out by delivering the quickest, easiest and downright coolest way of going about your audio-converting business. You simply select your file (or files) you wish to convert, right click and select convert. There are bit-rates a-plenty as well as volume normalization and a whole host of encoding formats (although you have to download the codecs for WMA and OGG separately). Another handy feature is the new info-box that appears when you move your mouse over audio files in explorer, letting you view file info and ID tags instantly without opening the files themselves. All this, and for free!!! dbPowerAMP is a most generous King indeed.
