Mp3 Tools contains precompiled code from a tutorial that can be found at http://www.astatech.com. Along with the tutorial on how to build this type of application is the source code for Mp3 Tools. Our Review: Not so much a commercial MP3 sharing utility, MP3 Tools is really a showcase for the development tools on offer at astatech.com (where you can grab the source code). The application itself consists of a client and server application which simply uses an IP address input for connection meaning. Search, upload, download and a play function are also present. While not really a viable way of getting youself some free music, MP3 tools does show you how easy these applications can be put together which bodes well for the future of file-sharing.
