This program also include a mp3 player and a ID3 Tag editor. In version 1.41, I changed the overall interface and added a playlist feature (and remade it freeware since not a single soul bought it) Our Review: MP3Filter is a nifty utility which is primarily geared to find duplicate files between folders and drives. What makes it even better is that you can change the specified file extension and search for any file types, not just MP3. It also includes a rudimentary MP3 player (with the unusual, but not entirely unwelcome addition of a speed slider), IDTag editing, auto-file renaming and can even create a handy list of your MP3s. In terms of interface, MP3Filter is styled in functional grey and remains fast and simple to use. Overall MP3Filter is a useful piece of software, and for those who have MP3s coming out their ears it is a small, quick and easy way to get to grips with your music collection.
