The '1609' comes from the model number of the IBM. To be honest, I forgot the exact number while working on the skin, and I thought it was 1609. However, when I got around to checking, the actual model number was 1620. But I'd grown used to 1609, and so it stayed :) Our Review: Fetish for switches...this one is for you.
