A powerful program, with a friendly user interface, which allows you to search all your music folders or drives for MP3 music with specified text within their names. Simply click the result's names to play any or all of the results(s) on your default jukebox. No longer do you have to remember which folder each song is in, or need to go searching through folders and subfolders to find what you want to hear. The MP3Detective List Maker function enables you to create sorted Text or HTML file lists of all your MP3's. MP3Detective includes a Favorites list for memory and easy playing your favorite selection. Also provides a 'Play-All' and 'Random' option to play all the songs found with a single click. Additional features include built in colour schemes (Skins), an ID3V1 Tag editor and File information, tray support, full drag and drop... Our Review: A great little program for rooting out all those MP3s scattered around your hard drive. MP3Detective searches any drive or folder for MP3s, then displays them. You are able to play the found tracks, save them to favourites (make up a playlist), or save the listing in HTML or text format and edit the IDtags. This latest version of MP3Detective is a little bigger than before, but you do get to create your own skins and it's still a breeze to use. New features include the ability to customize the user interface to your own taste. Recommended.
