With development efforts and recognition from around the world, broid is evolving into a mature and robust digital audio tool. Our Review: If you can get past some of the waffle spouted in broid's documentation ('(the software) would "embroid" music with the power of internet' , 'web-centric'), you'll find that broid is really just a nice-lookin' and nice-soundin' audio player for your desktop, complete with playlists, ID-Tagging and an incredible underwhelming visualisation. The so-called 'web centric' nature of broid refers to the fact that you can quickly e-mail a friend if you like a song and there is a link to a bunch of audio web-sites. At present this is hardly groundbreaking, although things should improve over time though as web-music grows making broid both a fine audio player and a sound investment for the future.
