Loop Recorder for Windows 95, 98, NT and 2000 records audio data from your soundcard. The loop mode infinitely records up to a specified number of minutes in a continuous loop while scrolling the data. At any time during the recording, the current data can be previewed and songs can be cut and saved as WAV or MP3-files. In addition, songs can be faded in and out and the level can be normalized. And all this can be done while the recording continues in the background.
Our Review: An interesting program that extends the capabilities of the standard windows media recorder. It allows for complete file looping in record mode as well as varying file type formats for saving. Loop recorder gives you the means to capture anything that went through your soundcard in the last 10 minutes, and save it as a .wav or .mp3. Especially useful if you have the radio playing, or are using a recording studio. The interface is simple in its layout, and quick to come to grips with, which somewhat compensates for the lack of documentation.
