One day my wife and I were looking around the Internet trying to find a PC based metronome. We just wanted something simple. But all we found were programs that either didn’t work, were too complicated or cost too much. So I developed KeepTime - both for my wife’s music playing and for anyone else who wants a soundly written, reliable and cheap metronome.
Our Review: This is a very unusual utility - it's a metronome, used for pacing music while playing and composing. Version 2.0 includes Keep Time Plus which is a very nice graphical interface for the Keep Time program. The program works well and seems accurate. You even adjust the number of beats per bar and the beats per minute. The price listed above is the lowest of the options which the developer, Graeme Chandler, would accept to register - there is the option of paying up to US$25 to help keep him in the developing business.
