Scamps is a freeware software package that consists of a number of tools that allow the user to produce their own interface for Microsoft's Media Player Engine.
Our Review: This is basically a direct clone of Winamp for use with the default Windows media player, having virtually all the same options and an identical interface layout to Winamp. It looks good and is skinable, and competently plays a wide variety of media files, in particular MP3 and WAV. It does come with an interesting option to create cassettes of your favourite mixes, and also allows you to customise the hotkeys of every function of the player. Also includes a skin making tool which is very comprehensive, and which also allows you to manipulate Winamp skins.
